Privacy policy
You can read every page on this site without giving me anything. This page sets out what is nonetheless recorded when you visit, what happens when you message me on WhatsApp, how long any of it is kept, and how to ask for it to be deleted.
Who is responsible for this site
This site, malaysiaproperty4u.com, is run by Louis Koh, a property consultant based in Malaysia. For anything on this page, contact me directly on WhatsApp at +60 10-906 6685 or by email at lkgroup.iqi@gmail.com.
What is collected when you simply read the site
Nothing that you are asked to provide. There is no account, no login, no registration and no paywall on this site.
Three technical things happen anyway, and you should know about them:
- Web server logs — the hosting platform records the IP address the request came from, the browser user agent string, the page requested, the referring page and a timestampAutomaticstandard for any website; used to keep the site running and to deal with abuse
- Caching and content delivery — pages are cached and served through a caching layer and a content delivery network so they load quickly. Those services necessarily see the requested URL and the connecting IP addressAutomaticdelivery and security, not profiling
- Cookies — ordinary reading should not set any cookie beyond what the caching layer or the hosting platform needs. WordPress itself sets cookies only for logged-in administratorsMinimalno advertising, remarketing or cross-site tracking pixel is installed on this site
What is not here. There is no advertising network, no remarketing pixel and no cross-site tracking script installed on this site. Nothing on this site is used to build a profile of you or to follow you to another website.
What happens when you contact me
WhatsApp. Every WhatsApp button on this site opens WhatsApp with a message already typed for you. Nothing reaches me until you press send. Once you do, I can see your WhatsApp number, whatever display name and profile photo you have set, and what you write. The message itself travels through WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta under its own privacy terms — I do not control that part.
Phone and email. If you call, I have your number. If you email, I have your email address and the contents of your email.
Forms and the newsletter. The footer of every page carries a newsletter subscription form. If you enter an email address there and submit it, that address is stored so that new launches, price updates and buyer guides can be sent to you, and you can ask to be taken off at any time. The same goes for any other contact or subscription form on this site: what you type into it is what I receive. Do not put anything in a form or a message that you would not want written down — including identity card numbers, passport numbers or bank details. I do not need those to answer a property question.
What I do with it
Only what you contacted me for: answering your question, sending price lists and availability, arranging a viewing, and following up on that conversation. If you tell me your budget, purpose and nationality so I can shortlist projects, that information is used for the shortlist and nothing else.
I do not sell, rent or trade contact details, and I do not add you to a bulk mailing list because you messaged me once.
Who else sees it

Beyond that, nobody — unless I am required to disclose something by Malaysian law or by a lawful order.
How long it is kept
Server logs are kept for as long as the hosting platform retains them under its own schedule; they are short-lived operational records and I do not mine them. A WhatsApp or email conversation is kept for as long as it is useful to the enquiry, and after that it can be deleted on request. If you ask me to delete our conversation and your contact details, I will, and you do not have to give a reason.
Your rights
Malaysia’s Personal Data Protection Act 2010 gives you the right to ask what personal data of yours is held, to ask for it to be corrected if it is wrong, and to withdraw your consent to being contacted. Message +60 10-906 6685 or email lkgroup.iqi@gmail.com and say what you want done. You will not be charged for asking and you will not be asked why.
Links to other sites
Project pages link out to developer websites, government portals such as the Ministry of Housing and Local Government’s TEDUH portal, and NAPIC publications. Once you follow a link you are on someone else’s site, under their privacy terms, and this policy stops applying.
Children
This site is aimed at adults making property decisions. It is not directed at children and I do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Changes to this policy
If what the site does changes, this page changes with it, and the date below moves. There is no archive of previous versions; if a change matters to you, ask me and I will tell you what changed.

If you use the “Ask a specific question” form
There is a contact form at the foot of the development pages and the guide sections. If you do not fill it in, it records nothing. What follows applies only once you press send.
What is collected
- Your name (required)
- An email address or a phone number — one of the two is required; both is fine
- The development or area you typed, and your question. Both may be left empty
- The page URL you sent it from and the language, so I know which development you are asking about
What is deliberately not collected
Your IP address is not stored. No cookie is set. No tracking or analytics call is fired. There is no CAPTCHA on the form, which also means no third-party CAPTCHA service is watching you fill it in.
Where it goes
Two places, both mine: stored in this site’s own database, visible only to me when logged in, and emailed to me as a notification.
No third party receives it. It enters no CRM, joins no mailing list, and is not used for advertising or remarketing. It is not sold, rented or traded.
How long it is kept, and how to have it deleted
Until you ask me to delete it. You can ask at any time, and I will confirm once it is done.
