Can a foreigner buy it? Development by development
There is no shortage of articles explaining that a foreigner needs RM1,000,000 to buy in Malaysia. Almost none of them tell you whether you can buy a particular development.
This page puts the answer for 131 developments in one place, each with the reason — which is usually very simple arithmetic: does the most expensive unit in this development reach that state’s floor.
The verdicts are printed as written, and not sorted into categories. The real answers include “Restricted”, “Medini exemption — confirm in writing” and “Only the top of the range”. Forcing those into a yes-or-no column would rewrite uncertainty as certainty. Every row links back to the development’s page, which carries the full working and the date it was last checked.

Questions about this page
Why not just split this into "can buy" and "cannot buy"?
Because the real answers are not that shape. Among these verdicts are "Restricted", "Medini exemption — confirm in writing", "Only the top of the range" and "Almost certainly not". Forcing those into two columns would quietly rewrite "I am not sure" as "I am sure". Each verdict is printed as written, with its reason, so you can judge what still needs checking.
This site carries more developments than this page lists. Why are some missing?
Because not every project page can answer it. Some developments publish no price at all, and with no price there is no arithmetic against the threshold — inventing a verdict would be making it up. The ones that can be answered are here; the ones that cannot say so on their own pages.
Do these verdicts go stale?
Yes. The thresholds are set by state governments and they change, and prices change too. That is why every row links back to the development's own page, which carries the date it was last checked and the full working. This page is an index, not a conclusion.
If the price clears the threshold, can I definitely buy?
No. Price is only the first gate. Title format (strata versus individual title), land use category, Malay reserve land or bumiputera quota restrictions, and written state consent all still apply. Johor adds a levy, and Perak has barred non-citizens from freehold outright since September 2023. Each project page states the rule for its own state.
