“Laman Damai” is a phase, not a separate project
Listings use several names for the same development: Country Garden Central Park, Central Park Tampoi, and Laman Damai @ Country Garden Central Park. Laman Damai is the name attached to Phase 2 — apartments with shop lots on the ground floor.
Agent material describes the phasing as Phase I apartment blocks (A1, A2, B1, B2, E1, E2), Phase II Laman Damai with shop lots, and later double-storey terrace phases. Before you compare two listings, confirm the block and phase — a Phase I 1-bedroom and a Laman Damai shop lot are different assets that happen to share an address.

What to check on a completed unit
On a subsale, the strata title, the management body’s accounts and the sinking fund balance matter more than any launch brochure. Ask for the latest maintenance statement, whether strata titles have been issued for your block, and the arrears level of the building.
Taman Damansara Aliff, Tampoi
The development sits on Persiaran Aliff Harmoni Utama in Taman Damansara Aliff, on the Tampoi side of Johor Bahru. iProperty lists Paradigm Mall, Plaza Angsana and KSL City as the nearby malls, and SK Taman Damansara Aliff and SMK Tasek Utara as nearby schools.
No source I could verify publishes a travel time to the Causeway or the RTS Link, so this page does not give one.

Four registered schemes, all completed
Portals disagree on the unit count because they each describe one phase. The National Housing Department register lists four schemes under the licensed developer, DAC Properties Sdn Bhd, and every one has its certificate of completion and compliance (CCC).

What the register adds
It settles the scale. The development is about 3,474 homes across four schemes, not the single 1,778-unit building one portal describes. The apartments are registered as serviced apartments, which usually means a commercial title and commercial utility tariffs — confirm with your lawyer.
Laman Damai is the newest block, completed in 2024. For a subsale unit, ask the owner which scheme the unit belongs to and check the price band above against the asking price.
Country Garden and Damansara Realty
Central Park is described as Country Garden’s fourth Malaysian project, developed with Damansara Realty Berhad. Country Garden’s larger Johor schemes — Danga Bay and Forest City — are on this site under their own pages.
For a completed building, the developer matters less than the joint management body or management corporation that runs it today. Ask who that is, and read its most recent accounts before committing.

Can I still buy from the developer?
No live developer sales page exists. Treat this as a subsale market: you buy from an owner, and the price is whatever the two of you agree.
Can a foreigner buy here?
Only a unit priced at RM1,000,000 or more, with state consent. On unit sizes of 403 to 1,631 sq ft in Tampoi, very few units — if any — will clear that floor.
What is Laman Damai?
Phase 2 of Central Park: apartments with ground-floor shop lots. Same development, different phase.
Why is there no price on this page?
Because there is no developer price for a completed project. Asking prices on portals are owners’ hopes, not transactions; I can pull recent transacted prices for a specific block on request.
