New launch and housing projects in Taman Pelangi
Two verified developments are listed here for Taman Pelangi, both freehold serviced apartments and both targeting 2030. M Grand Minori on Jalan Kuning is by Dsara Sentral Sdn Bhd, a Mah Sing Group company — two 61-storey towers on 5.99 acres holding 1,733 units in six layouts from 403 to 835 sq ft, with a Level 12 facilities deck, priced RM437,000 to RM1,000,000 on the permit and completing July and October 2030. The Address @ Maxim Pelangi is on Lot 16996 in the Mukim of Plentong, marketed as Taman Pelangi, by Maxim Pelangi Sdn Bhd, a 51% subsidiary of Bursa-listed Maxim Global Berhad — three blocks, 2,743 units on 6.51 acres, a stated gross development value of RM1.7 billion, and a published from-price of RM426,000 with no ceiling released.
Both are sold on the Singapore commute. From M Grand Minori the RTS Link station at Bukit Chagar is 3.0 km and the CIQ checkpoint 4.7 km, with Plaza Pelangi 1.5 km and KSL City Mall 2.1 km. From Maxim Pelangi the RTS station is 3.0 km and the CIQ 3.2 km, with Columbia Asia Hospital 1.8 km and Hospital Sultanah Aminah 3.5 km.
Johor sets its own foreign-buyer rules and they are not the peninsula's default. A non-citizen must transact at RM1,000,000 or above, with written state consent, and since 1 July 2025 Johor charges a foreign-purchase levy of 3% of the purchase price or RM30,000, whichever is higher. At M Grand Minori only the very top of the permit reaches the line; at Maxim Pelangi no published price does. The 8% non-citizen stamp duty applies on top.
