New launch and housing projects in Bandar Dato Onn
Three verified developments are listed here for Bandar Dato' Onn, and they are the three released phases of one scheme: Sanubari, in Perjiranan 13 of the township, by JLG Land Berhad and Johor Land Berhad. All are freehold two-storey terrace homes and all publish registered price bands. Phase 1 is 211 homes on 20 ft by 70 ft lots with built-ups of 2,052 and 2,112 sq ft at RM1,100,977 to RM1,578,707, completing July 2025 and December 2026. Phase 2 is 125 homes on 20×65, 20×75 and 22×75 ft lots at 1,901, 2,264 and 2,337 sq ft, priced RM1,200,000 to RM1,878,000, completing September 2026. Phase 3 is 202 homes in two tranches on 20 ft by 70 ft lots with a 2,089 sq ft built-up, priced RM1,288,000 to RM1,935,000, completing December 2026 and March 2027. Across all three the range runs RM1,100,977 to RM1,935,000 over 538 homes.
The published distances are identical for all three phases: AEON Mall Bandar Dato' Onn and Kompleks Mutiara Johor Land 1.5 km, Fairview International School and Bandar Dato' Onn Secondary School 2.2 km each, and the Malaysian College of Hospitality 2.3 km.
For a non-citizen this is a near miss that is still a miss. A foreign buyer of landed residential property in Johor must pay at least RM2,000,000, and the highest registered price across the three phases is RM1,935,000 — RM65,000 short of the floor. A transfer to a non-citizen also needs State Authority consent under section 433B of the National Land Code, and Johor's foreign-purchase levy of 3% or RM30,000, whichever is higher, has applied since 1 July 2025.
