Completed in 2018: freehold serviced residences in Taman Daya, from a 456 sq ft studio to 4-bedroom units of about 1,356 sq ft. The first thing to settle is the name — there is another “Daya 1” project nearby by a different developer, and the two are regularly confused.

KSL Residences @ Daya is not Daya 1 Residences
Daya 1 Residences, also in Taman Daya and on this site, is a Keck Seng project. This page is KSL’s completed development, sometimes listed as “KSL Residence Daya 1” or “KSL Daya Residences”. Different developer, different building. Before comparing prices, check which one a listing actually means.
KSL’s later KSL Residences 2 @ Kangkar Tebrau is marketed around Taman Daya too — also a separate building.

Taman Daya
Off Jalan Daya, on the Tebrau side of Johor Bahru. PropertyGuru lists AEON Tebrau City, Austin Heights International School, Austin Hill Golf & Country Club and Hospital Sultan Ismail nearby.

1,064 units, and the licensed developer is Prosper Plus Industry
Portals disagree on both the unit count and the developer. The National Housing Department register settles both: 1,064 units across three blocks, licensed to Prosper Plus Industry Sdn Bhd.

What the register adds
EdgeProp was right on both points. The 1,064 figure and Prosper Plus Industry as developer both come from the register. If you buy a unit KSL still holds, the seller on the paperwork may be Prosper Plus Industry rather than KSL Holdings; your lawyer should confirm the vendor.
Registered as serviced apartments, which usually means commercial utility tariffs and assessment.
KSL Holdings
KSL’s site lists the development and remaining units. EdgeProp names a different company, Prosper Plus Industry Sdn Bhd, as developer — possibly a KSL subsidiary or a data error. If you buy a remaining unit from the developer, confirm which company signs.
