Three unit counts, two tower counts, two tenures
KSL says five towers and 2,068 units, matching its architect’s project page. Other portals say three towers, 1,276 units, or even 396 (possibly one tower only). The developer says freehold; one portal says leasehold. The developer’s figures are the most likely to be right — but on a completed building none of this needs to be taken on trust. The strata title shows the tenure, and the management office knows the unit count.
This is not KSL Residences @ Daya (completed 2018), even though both are marketed around Taman Daya.

Portals give 396, 1,267 or 2,068 units. The National Housing Department register lists three permits under the name Residensi KSL Kangkar Tebrau (KSL Residences 2), and together they add up to KSL’s 2,068.

What the register adds
The portal figures were each one phase. 396 is Phase 2 or Phase 4 alone; the first permit alone is 1,276. The whole development is 2,068 units, all registered as serviced apartments.
Two completion dates: the first phase was handed over in October 2023 and the later towers in August 2024. For a subsale unit, ask which permit it sits under.
KSL Holdings
EdgeProp names Khoo Soon Lee Realty Sdn Bhd as the developer. KSL’s next building here, KSL Residences 3, is listed as upcoming on its site.
